Hello,
As a reaction to the "Harry Potter ?" thread - has anyone here besides me read all of Tom Clancy works involving the character Jack Ryan? These books I actually have read each one, several times (in fact I'm starting to collect them all on my Kindle, since my paperbacks are literally beginning to shred). The movies do not do them justice just because there's so much going on in the books, but they are a great read, if you're interested in the genre of military-thrillers (I suppose).
Of course Tom Clancy has past away but there are two writers who are continuing the story of the Jack Ryan universe and there have been several books put out under Tom Clancy's name since then. Not quite like reading Tom himself, but it's nice that the universe keeps going, with Jack Ryan and son, Jack Ryan, Jr. Clancy novels were huge in the late 80s and 90s...I was just wondering if anyone here has latched onto them.
